Identify the exact model before comparing
Start with the exact model or variant identifier and intended region or device. Record power, connector, network, operating-system, language, size, and accessory compatibility where relevant. Then separate appearance photos from functional evidence, note condition and included parts, and check whether batteries or radio equipment affect the shipping route.
A catalog page cannot guarantee safety, regulatory compliance, performance, warranty coverage, or compatibility.
Make identity more precise than the product family
| Field | What to record | Typical consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Model / variant | Full identifier and capacity/color variant | Different hardware or feature set |
| Region | Market or firmware version if stated | Bands, language, plug, or support may differ |
| Power | Input rating, voltage, plug, charger | Adapter or safety requirement |
| Connector | Exact port and cable type | Accessory incompatibility |
| Software | Required OS/app and version context | Features may not work |
| Network / radio | Stated bands or protocol | Local compatibility and route restrictions |
Build a compatibility statement you can test
Replace “compatible” with a specific relationship: the exact accessory model fits a named device model; the charger accepts a stated input; the earphones pair over a named protocol; or the storage type is supported by a stated system. Record who made the claim and when.
If compatibility is critical, check the responsible manufacturer's or service provider's current documentation rather than relying only on a catalog caption.
Separate appearance evidence from functional evidence
Appearance
Housing, ports, labels, screen condition, included accessories, and visible damage.
Function
Power-on, charging, controls, audio, display, connectivity, sensors, and other model-specific tests.
A photo of a lit screen may show power at one moment, but it does not prove battery health, full functionality, account status, long-term stability, or condition on arrival.
Record condition, included parts and support
- New, used, refurbished, opened, or other stated condition.
- Exact device, charger, cable, tips, adapters, manuals, and packaging included.
- Visible serial or account-lock status when lawful and relevant.
- Testing performed and the date.
- Return, repair, or support terms from the responsible seller or platform.
Do not infer warranty or official support from a logo, sealed-looking box, or general product name.
Treat batteries and radio features as route questions
Carrier, airline, customs, and destination rules can change. A route that accepted a category previously may not accept this packed item now. Pause if the exact model, compatibility basis, condition, or battery status remains uncertain.
